During my recent cabin daydreams I seem to have grown a serious love for the beauty that is plywood. We made our desk from plywood over a year ago and since then I haven't stopped being mesmerized by it's tone, texture and graphic quality. It's warm, smells great and is pretty easy on the old budget. So now, my dreams include flooring (did you know you can cut it into strips and install it like a regular wood floor?), walls, ceilings, headboards, shelves, countertops, pegboards, art, stairs.....the list really keeps going.
No matter the job, be sure if you choose to seal or coat with a protective coating that you choose a product that will not yellow/orange overtime - avoiding verging more into the 70's DIY era, rather than modern, clean, natural, Scandinavian simplicity. Always best to ask the pros wherever you pick up your paint.
