It's finally not sweltering in Vancouver
It's the Summer to Fall transition time in Vancouver right now and the weather is taking us on a ride this year. It seems impossible to dress appropriately lately - one minute it's raining, the next it's super humid and a couple of hours later it's dry and hot. Here's a look I'm loving lately that allows for layer removal etc. Above is the prime option, which most of our world can't afford. And below are some links & ideas for some affordable substitution options:
- Forever 21 Legging - these come in black in store and are super comfy
- Target Men's Denim Chambray Shirt - I prefer an oversized men's shirt to a tailored women's. Bonus, they're usually more affordable.
- I found a great, baby-soft leather motorcycle jacket with copper zippers and detailing at Zara this season for $269 = a seriously incredible deal
- Forever 21 Toques (or beanies if you're not Canadian ;) )- these are a steal for $4 a piece. They're just the right amount of slouchy in the back. I bought a bunch of great colours in store for this season - grey, black, emerald, navy & dusty rose
