A little homage to the trees that we are so lucky to live amongst in Western BC. Now I don't want to get all hippy in here but....No matter how many times I hike through them they never cease to catch my attention. The smell of warm pine needles in the summer is, by far, my favourite scent on earth - if they bottled it I would wear it as perfume i kid you not. I'm also enamoured with the chartreuse moss that grows on the dewy trunk of these tall giants. I mean who knew that nature could produce such a vivid colour? Even the stragglers that grow in city parks are worth a few pictures. I hope that these trees are around for future nature lovers to appreciate as much as I do.
